The City Beneath the Sky

Elias Vale has carried one question since he was six years old: what happened to his mother? It follows him into dreams of a staircase that keeps going below the water, and into a mark on his hand that opens and closes gates.

A coin that should not exist, a stranger at the gate, and a city hidden beneath the sky itself — Elias is drawn toward the Seven Gates, where Asterion, ancient gods, Titans and the force known as Aeon stir.

The Covenant that holds them all is beginning to break. Book One of The Last Covenant, in the expanded edition: canon preserved, with scenes, characters and mythology deepened.
